About Us

The state of education across the world is in rapid transition. With the skyrocketing costs of higher education, budget crises of many universities, and millions of jobs remaining unfulfilled due to missing skill sets in the workforce, higher education is in turmoil, which creates an opportunity for innovative leaders to bring about transformational changes in the industry.

Despite the rapid explosion of technological advances and strides made through the digital revolution and the advent of the information age, the landscape of higher education has remained essentially unchanged. By collaborating with universities and talented professionals in the field of cognitive science, data, technology and education, UV Labs aims to help higher education institutions thrive by providing bold ideas, new technologies and innovative products that assist in setting standards for student outcomes. By ‘innovating from within’ and partnering with universities and employers, UV Labs aims to prepare a new generation of learners to identify clear and efficient pathways through education to meet their academic and professional goals.

Launched in November 2012, UV Labs is led by a team of innovators and thinkers who have proven track records in building products and technologies for a large-scale consumer base, and who have a deep passion for the future of higher education.
